Arriving in a clean visage that represents the club on the road, adidas have revealed the Boca Juniors 24/25 third shirt design, which draws inspiration and influence from the Xeneize flag.
Sometimes less is more, and the latest offering from adidas for Boca Juniors proves that. As a club that needs little introduction when it comes to football shirts, this season’s away design for the Argentinian side is as stylish as you'd expect, showing that simplicity is key. An otherwise all-white base is accentuated by detailing that features the club’s iconic Azul y Oro (blue and gold), providing the finishing touches on a shirt fit for any occasion.
That iconic Azul y Oro colouring is almost globally recognised as Boca’s colours, and it’s here that the shirts design draws inspiration. Boca fans are known as Los Xeneizes (the Genoese) after the Genoese immigrants who founded the team and lived in La Boca in the early 20th century. The Xeneize flag is almost as recognisable as the kit, with that blue base and gold strip, and these colours are not lost for the away jersey, appearing as accent colours through the central band, Three Stripe branding on the shoulders, and through the side panels.
