adidas & Stonewall FC Launch 24/25 Kit Collection

Marking their fourth year of partnership, adidas and grassroots side Stonewall FC have revealed their kit designs for the 24/25 season. The collection includes the 'Unity 2.0' away kit, inspired by the transgender flag, in continued commitment to inclusivity and allyship.

Continuing to champion inclusivity in football through their ongoing partnership, adidas and Stonewall FC have recently unveiled the club’s new collection of jerseys that will be worn by its grassroot players and fans. The set sees the home jersey – presented in the club’s traditional blue – accompanied by the second iteration of the club’s ‘Unity’ away kit – Unity 2.0 – which features an evolved camouflage design in the colours of the transgender flag, promoting inclusivity and belonging in football. The collection sees the partnership between the brand and club (which is entering its fourth year) continuing to champion allyship with the trans and non-binary community through the shared ambition to provide LGBTQ+ people and their allies with access to football.

The home and away kits are joined by vibrant yellow and pink goalkeeper jerseys, presented with red and yellow accents respectively. Each kit proudly carries the LGBTQ+ flag on the right sleeve with the badge of Kick It Out – the organisation which tackles discrimination in football – on the left sleeve. Finally, the logo of shirt sponsor EA SPORTS FC is featured on the front of each jersey, signalling the brand’s continued support of Stonewall FC’s mission.

Alex Baker, Chair of Stonewall FC, said: “Our partnership with adidas has been pivotal in supporting our work. It has highlighted the power of community football as a vehicle for positive change, helping shine a light on the fantastic work we and many others are doing to make football a more welcoming space for all.

“Our first kit launch in 2021 saw the sale of over 600 Unity shirts, reaching supporters in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, Mexico, and the U.S. We're excited for this new collection and hope it helps to inspire people to be proud of who they are.”

Steve Marks, Senior Director, Brand Communications, adidas added: “We're delighted to continue our partnership with Stonewall FC. We aimed to create a symbol of unity and belonging to reinforce the message that football is truly a game for everyone. We hope these jerseys inspire players, fans and allies, to champion inclusivity on and off the pitch.”

A limited drop of the Unity shirt 2.0 is available now, with profits from the sale of all shirts going to Stonewall FC to support the work of the club.
