After releasing their newest collab with Jordan last week, we got to see the PSG x Jordan Wings Fourth kit in action last night. A game for the ages, PSG made an unbelievable comeback, going on to win the game after being 2-0 down early in the second half.
PSG and Jordan have been redefining football fashion collabs since their first time partnering up in 2018, designing some magic kits for the French club over the years. Last week we saw the Jordan Wings collection unveiled – the star of the series being the stunning fourth kit. Last night, we got to see it in action and it’s safe to say, it lived up to the hype.
Fashioned with a deep-blue body, the fourth shirt stays true to the ‘Wings' name, featuring wing-like graphics in pure white down the sleeves – inspired by the wings on the iconic Jordan logo. The shirt exhibited its elegance last night, worn during some outstanding performance from the likes of João Neves and Bradley Barcola.
PSG met Manchester city in the Champions League group stage last night, a fixture that we hadn’t seen in over 3 years since they last met in the competition. That time Man City came off best with a 2-1 win, however last night could not differ more. Paris Saint-German turned up in style in the Jordan Wings fourth kit, and they also finished the game in style too.
After a mild first half, City came shooting out the blocks in the second half, scoring two goals in 4 minutes to put themselves 2-0 with 35 minutes to go. City’s complacency quickly got punished, wonderkid Bradley Barcola tore up city’s defence, bagging a goal and assist within just 10 minutes of city taking the lead. With the game now being 2-2, it was all or nothing for both teams, but PSG had the grit to finish the game. The two Portuguese nationals, João Neves and Gonçalo Ramos, both scored to bag the win for PSG in the last minutes of the game. Does this game go down as one of PSG’s best comebacks ever in the champions league?
Basketball star Victor Wembanyama was also seen showing his support. As a French national himself, I'm sure he was buzzing to see PSG come out on top. 'Wembey' was even gifted with his own PSG x Jordan Wings fourth shirt with special personalisation to honour his time there. In the end, a great night for the Paris fans.
