Ahead of an official launch, LAFC debuted their new adidas secondary kit for the 2025 campaign in their preseason friendly against Club América yesterday, fully revealing the white and gold design.
As we edge ever nearer to the start of the 2025 Major League Soccer season, more and more teams are revealing their kits, generally through teaser style social posts with celebrities or new player signings. But LAFC have sacked off all that nonsense, instead opting to just straight up wear their stunning new secondary kit for their preseason match against Club América – a game they won 2-1, in case you were wondering.
The kit sees a white base with golden accents, arriving in perfect contrast to the club’s current and regular primary kit look. It’s a move that makes absolute sense, so it’s a surprise that it’s only the second time that it’s been used in the club’s history, the first time being in their debut season in 2018. Unlike then though, all of the elements take on the golden look, from Three Stripe branding to club crest and even the sponsor. This new secondary style is then topped off with a tidy polo-esque collar, which itself features a nice golden graphic, crowning the design in style.
As we've seen with adidas kits recently, the gold accents sweep through the jersey and into the shorts for a nice continuity element.
Eyes out for the official launch, which is due later this week.
