With MLS 2025 kits dropping hard and fast, Orlando City become the latest to release their new jersey. The kit draws inspiration from the unpredictable weather of Central Florida, emphasised through each and every jersey having a unique digital storm pattern.
The upcoming 2025 season will be Orlando City’s 11th in Major League Soccer and the club wanted a Primary kit that stayed true to its origins and would power the team into the season. Orlando Health return as the presenting partner on the jersey, having supported the club since their first season in 2011.
The 'Perfect Storm’ pays homage to the state of Florida. Pulling inspiration from the convergence of sea breezes from the Florida peninsula and colliding skies above Orlando, that create an intense Central Florida climate. It also honours the ‘storm-like’ atmosphere that the fans create at the Inter&Co Stadium. The innovative graphic on the jersey is intended to mirror the unpredictable nature of the weather conditions, which is why the design on the body of the kit will be unique on every single jersey for the first time in club history.
“This kit is a tribute to our fans who have supported us day in and day out, through everything, rain or shine,” said Orlando City Chief Marketing Officer Pedro Araujo. “It is also inspired by our players’ ability to thrive in adverse weather conditions, and a reminder that Inter&Co Stadium is one of the toughest environments in Major League Soccer for visiting teams to compete in."
A 407 thunderbolt features on the back of the neck as a nod to Orlando’s area code, as well as a doppler radar storm icon printed as a jocktag on the bottom of the jersey. The main body is fashioned in a two-tone purple digital storm pattern, paired with white accents on the iconinc adidas three stripes and sponsor.
Orlando City will be wearing The 'Perfect Storm’ kit for their season opener on 22 February in front of the home supporters.
