Real Racing Club De Santander have joined forces with Spanish brand Pompeii, to drop a special edition anniversary shirt – celebrating 112 years since the club’s founding. The kit pays homage to Racing’s rich history, through the eyes of retro fashion.
Pompeii, a brand better known for their footwear, have recently been putting themselves on the map with kit designs. From collabs with Kappa and AD Ceuta FC, they have not missed. This recent drop arrives as a partnership between the fashion label and tier 3 Spanish side Real Racing Club. Paying tribute to 112 years of success, Pompeii have designed a special anniversary kit for Racing, in a way that only Pompeii could.
Onto the kit itself, black and white pinstripes adorn an all-white base – traditional to the clubs signature verdiblanco colourway. Bringing a touch of vintage, the shirt fashions a fold-over collar decorated in green, much like the sleeve cuffs. A golden anniversary emblem is embroidered into the V-neck and back of the shirt, as a nod to a golden 112 years. The Racing club crest is partnered next to the iconic Pompeii logo, becoming the main feature of the front of the shirt. Flourishing in simplicity.
