adidas Team Up With Glastonbury For Retro-Inspired Festival Jersey

Festival season is finally upon us, which means the music is pumping and the daring fits are bursting onto the scene. Adidas are taking this summer to new levels, partnering up with one of the most iconic music festivals in the world for a special edition football-inspired piece. Take a look at the Glastonbury x adidas jersey.

An adidas x Glastobury collaboration may not be what everyone was expecting this summer, but it’s exactly what we needed. One of the most established sportswear brands teaming up with an iconic music festival – it’s perfect. Over the last few years we have seen football jerseys become a popular choice for some of the cleanest festival fits, so you know adi had to jump on that. Well, here music and football come together more than ever for a unique partnership celebrating the fusion of the two cultures coming together.

This collab blends iconic football culture with the indie spirit of Glastonbury festival. Using playful design elements and a striking colour palette, adidas pay tribute to the colourful DNA of Glasto and its trademark stages.  Distinctive graphics act as nods to the famous Pyramid stage, as well as the colours of the renowned Ribbon Tower. However, adidas didn’t miss on those football heritage details. The jersey reimagines that classic ‘Ipswich’ template, so famously worn by the Netherlands’ 1988 Euro winning team, with their own indie twist. That template became a staple throughout the 80’s, and you know that Netherlands '88 jersey has been worn to every festival, so this fresh new look is gladly welcomed by football and music fans.

With a vintage aesthetic sitting at the heart of the design, it was only right for the Trefoil to take its rightful place on the right side of the chest. A legendary symbol of retro adidas which has turned into a token of cultural significance in modern day football, 2025 is the year of the Trefoil comeback. The classic three stripes fall down the sleeves, whilst a monochrome v-neck collar completes the look – chef’s kiss.
