Manchester United & adidas Reveal New Away Shirt For The 25/26 Season

adidas and Manchester United have lifted the lid on the club’s 2025/26 away kit – and it’s a cultured nod to the past, served up with contemporary finesse. A reworked take on the legendary snowflake graphic, the new strip brings a bold reinterpretation of the iconic 1992 away jersey to the modern era.

Cutting through the noise with a crisp white base, the standout feature is a stylised lilac snowflake pattern – a modern expression of the club’s design heritage. Plum accents pop throughout, infusing the kit with a regal vibe. From the devil-redesigned crest to the adidas logo and those classic Three Stripes down the shoulders, every detail plays its part. The whole look is stitched together with an EQT-inspired overlapping V-neck collar, plum shorts and clean white socks for balance.

Juergen Rank, Senior Design Director at adidas, broke down the vision: “For this season’s away jersey we wanted to reimagine one of the club’s most iconic graphics of the past, and reinterpret it for the modern day in a bold new way through an updated colour palette. The rich purples work in harmony with the white base and metallic detailing, and we’re excited to see it on-pitch and in the stands this season.

Modern in execution, retro in soul – the new Manchester United away shirt taps into the nostalgia of the early ‘90s while asserting itself in the now. A kit made to turn heads, whether you’re wearing it to the match or repping it in the streets.
