Ezeta Unveil Vis Aurelia 25/26 Home & Away Shirts: Corinthian Elegance In Fabric Form

Once again playing in the sandbox of creative freedom that is non-league Italian football, Ezeta return with another masterstroke, revealing the home and away shirts for Vis Aurelia – a side rooted in the Metropolitan City of Rome.

Ezeta return with another chapter of their ongoing love affair with design, storytelling, and Roman heritage. This time, the canvas belongs to Vis Aurelia — a side from the Metropolitan City of Rome — but as with a lot of the brand’s past projects, the story here isn’t so much the club that are benefitting; it’s about the artistry stitched into the fabric. This is luxury football design, pure and simple.

For this drop, Ezeta once again dive deep into into the eternal allure of Roman history, pulling inspiration from The Myth of Callimachus and the Corinthian Capital. It’s a story that runs deep within the city’s architectural soul — a tale of grief and beauty intertwined. Vitruvius, in his celebrated De Architectura, recounts how sorrow became sculpture: a nurse’s basket of keepsakes placed on a maiden’s tomb, embraced by acanthus leaves, caught the eye of Callimachus. From that moment, nature became architecture, and grief was immortalised in stone. The Corinthian capital – a symbol of grace and perfection – was born. Ezeta take that story and weave it into modern football aesthetics.

The home shirt arrives in a rich green base, accented with opulent gold detailing that sweeps across the shoulders and upper chest. It’s a palette that feels regal yet rooted, echoing the acanthus motif without being literal. The away shirt flips the script: green gives way to a deep, wine-soaked burgundy, while the gold remains as a constant – a thread of continuity across crest, branding, and trim. Both shirts share the same refined template, but each tells its own chapter in this architectural homage.

Ezeta continue to prove that football shirts can be canvases for culture, not just kits for competition. Vis Aurelia may play in the shadows of Rome, but with designs like these, they’re wearing history on their sleeves.
