Palmeiras & PUMA Reveal 2026 Home & Away Kits

Rooted deeply in the club’s Italian origins, Palmeiras and PUMA Brazil have lifted the lid on the Verdão’s 2026 Home and Away kits, and they land with a powerful mix of innovation, heritage and purpose.

Inspired by the club's Italian heritage, the new Palmeiras kits will make their on-pitch debut this Saturday, 10 January against Portuguesa in the Campeonato Paulista. For the first time since PUMA and Palmeiras joined forces back in 2019, the entire collection has been produced using 100 percent recycled polyester. It’s a landmark moment for the partnership, aligning seamlessly with both club and brand commitments to sustainability, without sacrificing performance or identity.

The Home shirt stays loyal to Palmeiras tradition, led by the iconic green base. But look closer and you’ll find a fresh twist: sublimated green and red stripes running down the sides, a subtle but striking nod to the Italian tricolour. The collar is another standout feature, arriving in an unprecedented hybrid “U” shape — green at the back of the neck, white at the front, finished with fine green and red detailing that directly references the Italian flag.

The Away kit flips the script, coming in clean white with a classic straight polo collar dressed in green, white and red. On the front, two thin vertical stripes — one green, one red — add elegance and intent. Both shirts carry the club’s standard crest and feature a special sign-off on the back, while just below the collar sits an Italian flag, paying tribute to the Italian-Brazilians who founded the club back in 1914.

Accompanying the launch is a campaign titled “Onde houver um palmeirense, haverá Palmeiras”“Wherever there is a Palmeiras fan, there will be Palmeiras.” Shot in southern Italy, the birthplace of club patron Luigi Cervo, the campaign retraces the journey of Italian immigrants who crossed the Atlantic in search of a new life in Brazil at the turn of the 20th century. The visual storytelling bridges past and present, moving from the Old World to the hope-filled shores of Brazil, mirroring the origins of one of world football’s most decorated clubs.

The campaign’s name itself comes straight from the club’s archives, inspired by meeting minutes from 1914. At a time when World War I threatened the survival of the newly formed Palestra Italia, Luigi Cervo declared that even the presence of a single supporter would be enough to keep the club alive. That spirit of resilience and belonging lives on — woven now into fabric — as Palmeiras and PUMA deliver kits that are as meaningful as they are modern.

Palmeiras is a club that values its past, competes to be champion in the present, and works to be even greater in the future. The pages of courage and resilience written 111 years ago by the founders of our eternal Palestra Italia inspire us to face all the challenges ahead. May these uniforms, laden with history, be marked, at the end of the 2026 season, by great victories and achievements,” says the president of Verdão, Leila Pereira.

The intention behind filming in Italy was to celebrate and acknowledge the roots of the immigrants who came to Brazil to build their history. The shirt is not just a uniform; it appears contextualized in real life, as if it had always been there, part of that origin,” explains Luciana Soares, Marketing Director of PUMA Brazil.
