FC Augsburg & Mizuno Drop Another Beauty With 25/26 Fourth Kit

When it comes to kits this season, few have hit all the marks quite like FC Augsburg and Mizuno. And their latest drop? Well, that is another certified beauty.

Rooted deep in the city’s identity as Fuggerstadt, the new fourth kit design taps into Augsburg’s Renaissance-era textile dominance. When linen, trade routes, and the legacy of the Fugger family shaped Europe. Once again FC Augsburg have nailed the move in which fabric becomes storytelling, where craft becomes code.

What we love about this shirt is that it doesn’t scream for attention, it just naturally earns it. From the linen-inspired base that nods to quality and longevity, to the deep blue variant mirroring the Fugger Chapel, every detail feels intentional. Even the custom typeface, inspired by old Fugger manuscripts, brings Renaissance lettering onto modern name sets, adding that extra layer of authenticity. Meanwhile, copper finished crests and sponsor marks reference to the family’s raw materials empire, while pink, blue, yellow, Bordeaux and dark green subtly weave together family colours and club DNA.

Then there’s the Fugger coat of arms embedded into the fabric itself. Heritage, not printed on, but built directly in. And on the back ‘Fuggerstadt’ replaces the usual club mark, once again linking the shirt back to its origins.

This is exactly how you do a fourth kit.
