Before Juventus belonged to black and white, the club wore pink. It is one of those details from football history that feels almost too good to be true, and for 2026/27, adidas has brought it back.

The new Juventus away shirt is built around a soft pink base, connecting the modern club to the colours worn during its earliest years. Rather than turning the design into a straight blast from the past, adidas has kept things contemporary, adding a subtle tonal pattern inspired by the zebra, one of Juventus’ most enduring symbols.

Black detailing across the collar, sleeve cuffs and Three Stripes gives the shirt some modern sharpness, while the Juventus crest sits alongside an adidas Trefoil on the chest. It's a combination that pushes the shirt beyond pure performance wear and towards the kind of football kit likely to spend as much time off the pitch as it does on it – like so many Juventus jerseys have done in the past.

After all, there's the same old challenge with pink shirts: go too bright and they become a novelty, but keep things too muted and the colour loses the impact that made it interesting in the first place. Juventus and adidas have once again found a good middle ground here, allowing the pink to lead while the black detailing keeps everything under control.

There's performance technology involved, naturally, including lightweight engineered fabric and adidas’ CLIMACOOL+ ventilation system, which basically means you won't sweat too much. Yet the appeal is much simpler than that. Long story short: Juventus have returned to where they started, and it turns out pink very much still suits them. Which is a relief.
