The Nike5 range has been around for a few seasons now, and the Zoom T series has evolved within the ranges designed for indoor and astro (artificial turf) play. These top of the range Nike5 Zoom T-7 football shoes are the latest colourway in the series, offering premium k-leather upper and a host of performance enhancements intended to help out your game.
This Black/Pink/Yellow colour way is just one of a handful of colourwauys available in the Nike 5 T series. Those of you who like loud and brash colours will be in for a treat, as this is where the Nike5 series excells.
Our pair on show here are designed for indoor use, thanks to the hexagonal grippy sole pattern and very low profile ride. The outsole itself is made from a gum rubber to give this extra grip, as well being non-marking which is an important purchasing decision factor for many players.
Also featured is an offset lacing system which offers improved ball contact and control, and the comically-named "Toe Punt Technology", which Nike claim is designed "for increased ball control and shooting accuracy on hard or synthetic surfaces". But quite whether this means your punts will fly into the top corner still remains to be seen!
The Nike5 Zoom T-7 benefits from some exceptional cushioning, thanks to the addition of a Nike Zoom unit under the heel. Zoom Air works by absorbing the impact of the wearer, distributing it to retain the Zoom Air shape and buoyancy, which in turn allows for quick responsiveness. Making your quick skills and tricks in the match that easier to pull off.
Perhaps the best element of incorporating Zoom Air into the T-7 is that it makes the shoes very low-profile, bringing you closer to the ground and allowing for a better feel. So the thumbs up from us.
These top of the range Nike 5 Zoom T-7 football shoes are available now, for around £65 GBP / $100 USD. However if you're thinking this is out of your budget range, the gurus at the Swoosh also offer a series of take down versions.
Starting with the T-1 (£35 / $50), to the T-3 (£40 / $65) and the T-5 (£50 / $80) there should be a suitable Nike5 for all players!
