Nike Tiempo Topped Up With Summer Flavour
Nike round of their collection of summer colour-ups with a refreshing addition to the Tiempo line. Bringing a unique blend of 'Light Bone/Volt/Blue', the latest Tiempo paint palette boasts a modern-age look on Nike's richest and most prestigious heritage boot silo.
The Tiempo Legend IV enjoyed a successful campaign last season, most notably on the feet of Andrea Pirlo, Gerard Pique and Sergio Ramos. Despite whispers of a re-moulded Tiempo model soon to be in the offering, Nike continue to give more life to their long-serving Legend IV as we head into the 2013/14 season. 
Succeeding the rather popular Sunburst/White/Crimson colourway, Nike's latest design boasts an infectious flavour of summer shades that are sure to go down well. Despite being the elder statesman of the Swoosh family, Nike have shown that the Tiempo still has what it takes to keep up with the best.
Following Nike's decision to discontinue the Laser line following the introduction of the HyperVenom, we could see a few more faces added to the Tiempo roster. Likely candidates include Manchester United defensive duo Rio Ferdinand and Johnny Evans. The two will join the Tiempo's impressive line-up which boasts players including Gerard Pique, Carlos Puyol, Sergio Ramos, Andrea Pirlo, Javier Hernandez Ashley Cole. 
The Tiempo range has a traditional reputation with qualities that are hard to knock. The boots feature a combined super soft k-leather and Nike's revolutionary Kanga-Lite material. While the leather importantly surfaces the front of the boot for excelled touch, the Kanga-Lite is used in the lateral mid-foot and heel area to offer additional support whilst improving water retention. 
The quilted stitching is one of the key elements of the new Nike Tiempo Legend IV football boots and is essential in providing a new level of touch and feel. Another popular feature found in the Nike Tiempo Legend IV cleats is the 'FITSOLE' sock-liner, that has previously been used in Nike running shoes. Now customized for football, the new sock-liner is thinner, bringing your foot lower to the ground.
