Joma Pro Aguila Football Boots - Black & White
Joma have landed on the new season boot scene by dropping their new Pro Aguila. The Spanish brand have revealed a traditional boot made from super-soft kangaroo leather which will headline their 2013/14 boot range.
Everyone knows how soft kangaroo leather is, it's regarded as the highest quality material found on a football boot and is becoming a less frequent find on new boot releases with brands looking to cut down on weight by using synthetic alternatives. With less supply comes more demand and Joma's new Pro Aguila will be a welcomed sight for boot traditionalists.
Joma have upped their game for the 2013/14 season, we've already taken a look at their impressive new speed boot, the Super Copa and their heritage offering is equal in quality. The Pro Aguila optimise the brand, a boot that cuts no corners designed and created in Joma's native Spain.
The brand is based in Toledo, just outside Madrid and each of their boots is heavily influenced by Spanish culture, which is why Joma is so popular in the land of the World and European champions. Joma manufacture each boot in their own back yard to ensure the quality of their products is up to their high standards.
The Joma Pro Aguila football boots are instantly recognisable by the large 'J' on the instep and outstep of the boot and there's something significantly cool about stepping away from some of the mainstream brands to wear a different boot, especially one wrapped up in Spanish flair.
Both the white and black Joma Pro Aguila boots feature lime coloured details on the inside, sole plate, tongue and stitching to add a splash of character. The Pro Aguila ticks every box when it comes to comfort and quality and is definitely sitting near the top of the table in the current heritage category.
The toe box on the boot is a little higher than usual which may be an issue for players that seek the closest possible fit but overall it's another classy offering from Joma and the signature stitched Aguila on the heel is the perfect finishing touch.
