A hands on look at our pair of special edition MVIX CR7 boots
Only 100 pairs of Nike Mercurial Vapor IX CR7 Special Edition boots are set to be released and thanks to the boys and girls at Nike Football we've been sorted out with a pair of our own, which we've put through the studio to take a closer look at.
Dropping in at number 45 of 100 our pair, and the other 99 pairs come complete with a change of gold studs, limited edition presentation box and bag and insoles that bare the signature of the man himself, in gold, naturally.
Visuals wise it's all about that snazzy gold soleplate, inspired by his recent Ballon d'Or success. Yep, snazzy indeed. One for us, one for Ronnie himself to wear in el clasico Copa del Rey final on April 16, 98 up for grabs although you can bet they won't hang around for long.
Price is yet to be announced by Nike but anything with gold on it does serious damage to your wallet, that's just how it works, we don't make the rules.
