We bring you a closer look at the new Umbro UX-1 football boots, showing you exactly what the folks at the double diamond have delivered.
Umbro are giving boot fans reason to believe again with the launch of their new UX-1. After being introduced to the market through a series of tease pictures on Umbro's Instagram account, Premier League players Joe Hart and Andy Carroll first wore the boots on the Premier League's penultimate weekend as well as today's final fixtures. Already the UX-1 is already being pipped as one of the double diamond's most exciting and ambitious releases in recent years.
Now we can bring you your closest look yet at the new Umbro UX-1 football boots, designed in a deep purple and fluorescent yellow launch colourway. The Umbro UX-1 is made from a one-piece upper made from a light, breathable material that features a sleek webbing across the medial and lateral areas to help aid first touch.
Umbro continue to evolve their A-Frame system that's been tweaked to offer more stability and security. Acting as a backbone, a dual density cage and soft protective spines cushion your heel and safeguards your Achilles. The outsole has been designed with ten forefoot studs spaced to reduce pressure and increase comfort. Four conical heel studs create superior traction, making it easier for you to change direction fast.
