We were amongst the first players in the world to lace up in the new Battle Pack as adidas invited us to Stoke City's Britannia Stadium to put their new World Cup boots through their paces.
As adidas launched their crazy new World Cup Battle Pack on Monday morning our in-office SoccerBible FC team were walking out of the tunnel at Stoke City's Britannia Stadium for a warm up, each player laced up in the brand new designs to be worn by adidas players in Brazil.
We asked you guys to send in your best team photos on Twitter after which we picked a team to play against and help launch the adidas Battle Pack. The chosen team was Frolesworth United, a Leicester based team we later found out had gone the entire season unbeaten in the league...great.
On arrival both teams took to their respective changing rooms to find personalised kits, adidas Brazuca balls and most importantly the adidas Battle Pack football boots. Once the players had checked out their new boots and kitted out ready for action the teams were given team talks by Stoke's Charlie Adam and Glenn Whelan.
With the sheer amount of adidas players involved in the World Cup this summer it's safe to say the Battle Pack will demand a dominant presence on pitch. A big thanks to adidas and the Frolesworth United boys who ran out 4-2 winners thanks to some suspect SoccerBible defending and some even more suspect finishing.
