Twelve years on and the people's Predator is back. Adidas complete the 'Revenge Pack' series with the launch of the Predator Mania Instinct.
Adidas launch their third and final boot from the limited edition ‘Revenge Pack’ series and it’s the one we’ve all been waiting for; the Predator Mania Instinct. Following the Predator 94 Instinct and the Predator Accelerator Instinct, the final drop recognises one of the most celebrated and popular football boots in recent history. Launched in 2002 as the second adidas Predator of the new century after the Predator Precision, the Mania broke new ground in the Far East, dominating the South Korea & Japan FIFA World Cup. Yes they're a limited edition and yes they will burn a serious hole in your pocket, but after 12 years and countless calls from fans, the Mania finally makes its long awaited return as part of the Predator's 20th anniversary celebrations. Get in line people.
The original adidas Predator Mania is widely regarded as the champion of all Predators. Advances in technology along with an unmatched designed and a catalogue of stunning colourways, the Mania brought the Predator into a new era. Designed with a k-leather upper and stitched-in Predator technology, the Mania provided even more ball swerve than previous models thanks to the rubber serrations on the instep of the boot. Other advances included the external TPU heel counter and the split outsole construction; a two-piece outsole which helped to make the Mania the lightest Predator of its time. Above all though, it was the elasticated tongue which gave the Mania its own unmistakable identity.
