Mizuno begin their new year adventure by slapping a new "Neon Orange/Pansy" colour up on their most recent Basara silo.
Yeah, "Pansy" get over it. Feel like you've seen these before? Well, you probably have. They've been knocking around pitches since early November with Japan's Shinji Okazaki headlining player support. The bright third colourway of the collection features all the impressive Basara technology that made it one of the most underrated boots of 2014.
A lightweight, soft and supple Primeskin upper makes this a unique silo for the brand who are renown for creating the highest quality leather boots. The strategic stud configuration of the Basara ensures the foot always has maximum contact with the playing surface. ‘D-Flex’ grooves allow the boot to rotate with the foot, ensuring the studs enter the ground at the same angle as the foot for enhanced traction and reduced risk of injury. Mizuno have focused on changing direction at speed rather than sprinting in straight lines. Makes sense.
