The Kings of Camo are back to unveil the next-generation evoPOWER. In recent seasons PUMA have built a tradition of releasing limited numbers of their new boots in a camouflaged wrap and they're up to their usual tricks with the evoPOWER 1.2.
Offering a first look at the next evolution the Camo lands as a limited edition drop with just 580 pairs up for grabs worldwide. A striking Peacoat/Bright Plasma colourway adorns the new upper that as of yet PUMA are holding back on tech-details until the first official colourway is released.
We've already seen Olivier Giroud testing a black-out pair and now PUMA have upped their campaign in typical fashion. A redesigned AccuFoam upper is introduced, which covers a larger area of the boot than the current model for added power. The trademark external EverFit cage remains on the instep and PUMA look to have added an evoSPEED-esque GripTex technology on the forefoot to upgrade the performance of the evoPOWER 1.2 in wet weather conditions.
The evoPOWER launched in January 2014 and went on to become one of the best newcomers of the year as PUMA put together an impressive squad of top flight players. The Camo story began on the first generation evoSPEED boot that was teased in a 'Razzle Dazzle' colourway before being officially revealed and PUMA have revisited a tactic that they've also used on the evoSPEED 1.2, King II and evoPOWER.
