Taking inspiration from their glorious back-catalogue adidas have hooked up the Predator Instinct with a familiar crowd-pleasing colourway. The familiar "White/Red/Black" combo featured on the '98 Accelerator, '00 Precision, '02 Mania and now it's back to wrap the Instinct in a coat of nostalgia.
Innovation and evolution in football can often progress to a point where the roots of what made a product so successful are forgotten. In recent seasons we've seen adidas drop a number of Predator colourways with designs that disguised the boot that so many player fell in love with. That may well be part and parcel of the game, products can't stand still and the boundaries of design must be pushed by a brand but adidas haven't neglected their popular colour-combos by landing the latest Instinct refresh.
Other than the colour-up you're looking at all the same Instinct tech. The trademark SL rubber elements are decorated in "Solar Red", a tad brighter than the old-school Pred colourways but we'll let that slip and the upper of the boot is predominantly white with black stripes and branding. Any colourway that pays tribute to the old Predator models is always going to have a tough job following the 'Revenge Pack' but this effort ain't too shabby.
