Nike lay down another marker of the intent in their futsal game by hooking up their MercurialX Proximo silo with a colourway that replicates the "Silver Storm" pack as seen on pitch towards the end of last season.
The MercurialX is Nike taking their Superfly and giving the boot a super-thin outsole to give the ultimate fit and barefoot feel that the Superfly is known for... but made for indoor or turf surfaces. With the "Wolf Grey" dominating the upper and accented by "Hyper Pink" Nike have brought their top-end futsal shoe in line with their on pitch collection as they invest more time and resources into the small-sided game.
An extremely thin Phylon cushioning system is employed by the boot to ensure that it sits as low as possible to the ground while also keeping the weight of the boot to a minimum. Then, to keep the Superfly from falling apart on the harsh conditions that the short-sided game brings, Nike has added NikeGrind rubber to any area that might encounter a little bit of extra abrasion so that durability won’t be an issue.
