Having just launched arguably the most innovative speed boot in the game, Under Armour have unveiled a custom Speedform CRM FG 'Country Pride' edition, made exclusively for the Netherlands own Memphis Depay.
There's no questioning just how important an international appearance is for Memphis Depay. Under Armour have tried to entwine elements of his character and style of play with this incredibly limited edition boot.
The colour fade symbolises Memphis’ affinity for gold with his pride to wear the Dutch kit. Gold is not only one of Memphis’ favourite colours, but also representing what he accomplished this season by winning the Golden Boot and leading PSV Eindhoven to the Dutch Eredivisie title. To top it off, a windmill is stamped into the inner sole. It is one of the most famous Dutch icons that stands for Memphis country pride and reminds him about the beautiful country he is fighting for on the pitch each time he puts on the boots.
