PUMA's lightest ever boot is back for more as the German brand unveil a more muted "Total Eclipse/Lava Blast/White" colourway to extend the new evoSPEED 1.4 SL line.
Arriving fresh on the heels of the "Lava Blast/White/Total Orange" colourway, PUMA have taken things down a notch with their latest evoSPEED 1.4 outfit. Partnering a navy toned "Total Eclipse" upper with a louder "Lava Blast" red across the branding, it's hard to argue with the look of PUMA's latest piece of work.
Beneath the surface, the PUMA evoSPEED SL has been designed to keep weight to an absolute minimum, sacrificing any unnecessary or excess materials in search of producing a match fit boot as close to 100g as possible. A new laser cut speed frame is introduced to support the upper and the stud configuration sees a unique change with the three-stud design on the heel.
One of the main talking points since the boot launched earlier this month, the evoSPEED SL does come with a catch. PUMA drop in a disclaimer explaining that the boots will only be match fit for a small number of games, making them more of a collectors item or for players on a salary of those wearing the boots in the professional game.
