The Umbro Speciali Eternal launched in traditional style, two black and white colourways typical to the famous silo's roots, job done. Now it's time for the Double Diamond to get creative and put a modern spin on the reignited classic boot, first up "Safety Yellow".
Umbro have cast their net further afield in recent seasons as the brand has evolved to cover the speed market with the impressive Velocita silo but they're by no means forgetting the foundations the brand was successfully built upon. The Speciali series is a boot that will live forever, in the same mould as the adidas Copa Mundial, it's a classic and Umbro recognised that status this year by re-engineering the silo to create the Speciali Eternal.
The lightweight soft leather upper offers supreme comfort & durability and is dipped in "Safety Yellow" and Umbro's recent favourite "Clematis Blue" to deliver a twist on the basic colourways that are typically associated with a heritage football boot. The rulebook of football boot design has been re-written and re-written again in the last five years and coloured heritage boots are becoming increasingly popular as players look for variety, for Umbro though, they'll offer both extremes and that has to be commended.
