PUMA King II "Safety Yellow/Black"

The King may live a quieter life these days but PUMA's cherished silo still sits on a throne of class and comfort. In a year tipped for next level innovation PUMA kick off 2016 with a colour up on a firm favourite from the old school as the King reigns supreme.

A simple "Safety Yellow/Black" paint job welcomes in the new year for a brand that is soon to get busy on their next-generation products, but first it's archive royalty. The sleekest King yet was first launched in October 2014 and is a modern take on football's longest serving boot that has won World Cups, Champions Leagues whilst worn by generations of legendary players.

Some description

With PUMA now focused on the future, the King has fallen down the pecking order as the evoSPEED and evoPOWER have been installed as the on-pitch choices for the brand's professional player pool. Sticking to their heritage roots PUMA are still giving the King II the odd colour-up as it continues to do battle with its old foes, the adidas Copa Mundial and Nike Premier. Like three old pros playing in an over 35's game. The class will always be there. Just because it's not on pitch doesn't mean the quality is lost, the evoSPEED and evoPOWER are more marketable - they're the future of the brand, the King is the legacy.
