Mixing up the colourways of the previous edition adidas have brought the "Solar Slime" to the forefront, installing it as the lead colour on the fourth update of Messi's first ever signature silo – sixth if you include the 'Platinum' boot and 10/10 limited edition drop. Vibrant green with massive logos of your own name on each boot. When you're the best player in the world, you can pretty much do what you want.
It's a bright one – not that Messi needs any help standing out. "Solar Slime" may not be to everybody's taste, but it's chosen by Messi as well as the rest of the makeup of the boot, so who are we to argue. Naturally, Messi will lace up in his new wheels as Barca return to Champions League action as he looks to spearhead his side to consecutive European titles.
