PUMA v1.06 10th Anniversary

PUMA celebrate the tenth anniversary of the v1.06 with a re-release of their famed "Red/White/Black" edition. Diving back into their archives they've plucked out a limited run of the boot originally launched in 2006 and worn by players such as Samuel Eto'o, Robert Pires and Alexander Hleb.

Now a solid decade old the v1.06 was PUMA's first real attempt at breaking into the speed boot market and has since evolved into the evoSPEED SL which we see today. Released in the same exact form as it was back in 2006, the v1.06 offers a new generation of player the opportunity to experience the brand's very first adventure into speed boots.

Some description

Tech wise the v1.06 is untouched in ten years, the only difference with the re-release is the insole pays tribute to the tenth anniversary to give them the stamp of authenticity. The side lacing (PUMA Lace Wrap System) offered a large striking area on the ball and a unique ConTec upper material kept weight down to a minimum, although the material has fallen way to that unforgiving monster innovation in recent years. A blast of nostalgia and a move that is guaranteed to please the player. You can never go wrong with a re-release.
