Fashionably late. The Tiempo 6 enters the Academy Pack party under the cover of darkness as Nike hand out the all-black wrap to dress it as the epitome of heritage cool.
The first Academy Pack landed in April 2015 and was made up of a Superfly IV, Magista Obra, first-gen Hypervenom and a Tiempo V but since then Nike have introduced a Hypervenom II and now a sixth-generation Tiempo Legend to ensure that none of their silos escapes the shadows. A complete black-out upper engulfs the Tiempo 6 with the only splash of colour appearing on the 'Tiempo' branding on the sole-plate.
The Tiempo Legend 6 is Nike's most advanced Tiempo Legend to date, with a new take on the trademark quilted leather toe box. Nike have delivered the touch attributes of quilting without extensively perforating the leather in a new look for the Tiempo Legend 6, which also features an internal, cushioned cage that holds its shape and grooves the leather with minimal stitching. The new one-piece solution tongue is integrated into the laces and a moulded heel and microfibre socklines further help to keep the foot in place. Understated, classy and premium.
