PUMA evoSPEED SL Grass

PUMA reach into their diverse and iconic footballing archives for the inspiration behind their latest evoSPEED SL design. Based on the landmark v1.06 boot originally launched in 2006, the evoSPEED SL revives the famous grass print and delivers it in a beautiful re-issue a whole decade later.

The evoSPEED is the evolution of the v1.06 incorporating ten years of PUMA lightweight technology and the grass print design was a boot that established the brand at the forefront of the speed boot market while paving the creative path for more adventurous designs now commonly associated with speed football boots.

Some description

The 'Unseen Green' v1.06 was actually launched towards the end of 2005 but was one of the stand out boots at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, with the camouflage styling drawing attention to the PUMA Form-stripe as the rest of the upper blended into the pitch. Worn by a number of PUMA players at that tournament and fronted by Freddie Ljungberg the design became the first real eccentric boot that featured a patterned display on the upper.

Some description

As well as all your usual evoSPEED SL technologies the PUMA evoSPEED SL Grass features painted pitch lines on the turf instep of the boot for that full grass feel and, wait for it... 3D effects and graphics on the PUMA branding – meaning each pair comes equipped with a pair of 3D glasses. We'll leave it there...
