The UX 2.0 has taken somewhat of a back seat in recent months since the reveal of the Medusae, the popularity of the lightweight Velocita II and the timeless design of the Speciali Eternal. But Umbro's control silo has now been hooked up with a blast of blues for the end of season run in.
Sitting alongside the new "Marine" Umbro Velocita II, the UX 2.0 merges shades of blue for a tidy update to Umbro's controlled power silo. A white double diamond sits on top of the "Deep Cobalt" upper to complete the slick design and land as the fifth colourway on the UX 2.0.
Made up of light, breathable material, its one piece upper has been produced to carry the strength needed to withstand tackles while being soft enough to retain that crucial feel for the ball and thus maintaining all round control when in possession. As well as that, the re-engineered A-Frame offers stability and the outsole contains Conical studs for superior traction, helping players to change direction fast. Another key new technology is the 'Touch Control Zone', which is 3D printed for maximum grip and that's joined by a dual density heel counter with integrated flex spine to cushion the heel and safeguard the Achilles.
