Under Armour live up to their name with another military inspired design across their football footwear collection. Wrapping the Clutchfit and Spotlight 2.0 in a desert camouflage graphic, the American brand take an off-radar approach to their new on-pitch line-up. Sandy.
This isn't the first time Under Armour have experimented with extravagent visuals, far from it. The Clutchfit has already boasted Superman vs Batman designs, as well as a limited edition Metallic Silver drop that launched earlier this month to celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary. If your pitch is in any sort of half-decent condition then the camo work print is purely an alternative design. Beach football, however, a different story. Maybe beach football players have been wearing these for years? We don't know. We'll never know.
Tech wise the performance aspects of the ClutchFit remain the side. Including a reworked patterned upper for that 'second skin' feel and new Microfin elements have been added to provide additional grip in ball strike areas. Tongue enhancements and a Charged Foam underfoot are introduced, all whilst shaving 0.4oz off the first generation. Boots, shin-pads, bucket and spade. Let's go.
