The adidas ACE 17+ Purecontrol will understandably take the plaudits as its paraded by the Three Stripes to headline the Red Limit collection, but the real winner could well be these little beauties. The adidas ACE 17.1 k-leather has got it all. This is the people's champ. Trust.
If the adidas ACE 17+ Purecontrol got the nostalgia juices flowing then the ACE 17.1 is throwback to a party of Predator past. That colourway, perfection. Talk about a real crowd-pleaser, the ACE 17.1 combines the same colours of its laceless brother only it switches the colours around to include a k-leather red vamp on the front of the boot that features no stitching for an uninterrupted feel.
A built in one-piece tongue and Sprintframe soleplate make the third instalment of the ACE generation more streamlined compared to the first 15.1 model and more locked in, in comparison to the previous 16.1 edition. That leather vamp on the 16.1 Leather is starting to look pretty damn chunky. Simple vibes, executed to perfection. An underdog, but a Red Limit winner for us.
