Limit reached. Adidas complete their full Red Limit collection with the launch of the X 16+ Purechaos. Wrapped in red and landing across the full X 16.1 series, the Purechaos sits in line with the recent ACE 17+ and COPA 17 updates.
While the ACE series has received a next-generation edition, the X will have to wait until the new year before adidas take it in for a 17.1 service. A much more reserved vibe than the bright Solar Red edition of the 'Speed of Light' Pack worn by all adidas X players to kick off the current domestic football season, the 'Red Limit' colourway blends into a dark black heel and Purecut sock system.
Laced up and covered up, the adidas X 16 Purechaos remains unchanged tech wise, with all aspects of that covered in our on-pitch review. Warning red flagging up the chaos, it's a colourway that will take place on pitch from this weekend onwards, through December, with your usual X suspects sporting them. That includes, Luis Suarez, Gareth Bale (if he gets fit) and Diego Costa to name just a few. Never-mind a white Christmas, it's a red one at adidas HQ.
