A lightweight speed silo that offered a new dimension of performance for one of football's most prestigious brands, and now another emphatic episode of speed arrives via a third generation update – introducing Umbro Velocita 3.
Don’t Get Caught is the philosophy behind the Umbro Velocita 3. The latest evolution in Umbro’s speed boot silo sees a dramatic shift in design to complement the progression of Umbro's forward-thinking mentality. Umbro join the collar movement in their own unique way. Naturally, the Velocita 3 is built to aid players who play the game at top speed, with a locked-in fit achieved to aid agility and acceleration. Comfort and fit is upgraded through a special tri-layer construction on the upper, with Neoprene mesh in the rearfoot and airmesh in the forefoot to provide a responsive fit.
A heat-welded cage in the mid-foot area develops Umbro’s A-frame design to offer support and stability, reducing excess foot movement inside the boot. Once comfortably locked-in the TPU outer skin ensures maximum durability and a close touch sensation on the ball, while the same tried and tested soleplate from the previous Velocita series provides the traction. All lovingly wrapped up in a "Dawn Blue/Carbon/Fiery Red/Spectra Green" launch colourway with colour updates to follow in early 2017.
