adidas turn on the 'Limited Collection' charm to celebrate 35 Years of the Legendary Copa Mundial with the new 'Crowning Glory' pack. Designed in white with a touch of luxurious gold, it's a shoutout to the winners of 2016.
The three pack collection is headlined by COPA 17. A tribute to one of the brand's most iconic boots – the Copa Mundial. A boot that has been an ever-present of football pitches worldwide, of all levels, for the past 35 years. In that time, the Copa Mundial has been worn by some of the most successful players in the game such as Franz Beckenbauer, Michel Platini, Franco Baresi and Kaka. To illustrate this, Crowning Glory has been designed in beautiful white and gold colours, with the gold representing the medals amassed by players wearing the Copa Mundial.
The COPA 17 version of the pack is topped off with crocodile embossing on the heel to deliver a luxurious and fashionable design, while Crowning Glory is also released in Cage and Street versions. BOOST technology is used in the cage version, with a gum finish on the outsole and a suede toe-cap to prevent abrasion on harder surfaces. The design of the street shoe is cleaner with an all-white, K-Leather upper and fold-over tongue, following the style of the recent Mundial Team Modern Craft.
