Tis the season. CR7 headlines the end of year honours list as Nike wrap up a limited edition gift of Superfly serving for their main man to celebrate another year of glorious victory. Merry Cristiano, indeed.
These are nothing short of spectacular. A fourth Ballon d'Or, a Champions League title and a EURO 2016 Championship ain't a bad twelve months work to look back on when Ronaldo tucks into his turkey, after individually watching all his friends and families open their new CR7 Blankets with unsatisfied but unsurprised faces. For Cristiano, things are typically sweeter. The Mercurial Superfly CR7 Vitórias is Nike's statement of superiority for their icon of success.
Just 777 pairs of individually numbered Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Vitórias boots will drop in early 2017. Yeah, next year is starting with a scramble. This is a big one, and at 31, is it his last one? Either way, you want it. And, so does everyone else. It's aesthetically elegant and as well-chiselled as the man himself. It's everything that a limited edition football boot should be.
The upper of the Vitórias features a stylish Pure Platinum upper with a subtle blue metallic shine and an elegant fade from heel to toe. The Metallic Gold plate is a nod to the gold trophies Ronaldo won this year and the heel graphic reads “Vitórias,” Portuguese for victories. The CR7 logo and Swoosh are further highlighted by an iridescent shimmer. Clean, simplistic, assured. Nothing to prove, no numbers to call out achievements, no vibrant colourways. Clinical, just like the man himself.
