So it started off silver but now the UltraBOOST Cleats have taken a "Triple White" turn. Having only just unveiled the UltraBOOST cleat earlier on in the week, adidas have wasted no time in dropping and all white sibling as that journey from street to stadium just keeps on keeping on.
Alright, alright, sure. These pearly white's may well be made for the NFL, but that doesn't quite kill the thirst. With the "Silver Pack" landing out of the blue, it's a bit of an ocean of opportunity as this mash up tears into a new headspace. Is it a sign of the future? Will we be swapping the traditions of dubbing the leather replaced with protecting those creps with spray? Either way, it's a groundbreaker in bringing a crossover between pitches as well as pavements.
Naturally, the innovation under the hood are largely based in running the streets as opposed to the pitch and largely the characteristics that make the sneaker so damn sharp still remain. The original Primeknit construction is as present as ever and the three striped cage has been reworked into the upper to make for a locked down fit. Boost technology stays strong in the sockliner though the most obvious difference from street based UltraBOOST to cleated crossover is in the sole plate. The 'RazorFrame' is accompanied with SprintStuds to provide the perfect platform for pace and agility to flourish.
One for the mantlepiece maybe? Bring it out when your mates come round, dazzle 'em then explain how they'll never touch the pitch. So much sass.
