A blast of blue meets a pinch of pink as adidas launch the ACE 17.1 Leather in "Blue/Shock Pink/White" as the final installation to the 'Blue Blast' collection. An alternative concept and an alternative colourway for a boot with laces and without a collar. What's all that about?
Is that enough to be described as old school in this day and age? Perhaps not just yet, but it's important that adidas are still offering players a more traditional silhouette, in a traditional leather feel, on a silo that is arguably the most advanced boot in the adidas stable. Shaking things up visually, adidas have tweaked the deep blue design found on the ACE 17+ Purecontrol boot with a white design and "Shock Pink" stripes and finishing.
A real underrated player in the adidas ACE 17 game, the 17.1 leather features k-leather vamp on the front of the boot that features no stitching for an uninterrupted feel. A built in one-piece tongue and Sprintframe soleplate make the third instalment of the ACE generation more streamlined compared to the first 15.1 model and more locked in, in comparison to the previous 16.1 edition
