PUMA are attacking a week of big Premier League derbies with a duo of limited edition "Derby Fever" designs for two of their leading strikers. This here is the Sergio Aguero signature PUMA evoSPEED that he'll wear against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday night.
Aguero will be the first PUMA athlete to lace up in a custom design this week before Olivier Giroud wears his own signature evoPOWER Vigor 1 boot against Tottenham on Sunday. Aguero's evoSPEED 17.2 SL boots are dressed in Man City blue and white with flashes of gold on the "Derby Fever" branding. Another flex of PUMA's muscles in showcasing their full player line-up and rewarding each player with bespoke treatment. All in the service.
The "Derby Fever" series has already taken in some of the biggest rivalries in world football. Marcos Reus (Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke) has already been supplied with his own custom design, as have Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal vs Chelsea) and Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid) and now PUMA have served up a bespoke launch for one of their most prolific long serving frontmen – Sergio Aguero. He'll be looking to give them a goalscoring debut but could face stern competition from his red rivals – after-all they're used to playing on Thursday nights.
