Lionel Messi's signature "Cold Blooded" boot doesn't resemble the rest of the new adidas collection one bit. Quite fitting for a player that simply doesn't conform to the standard levels of the game. He's different, and so is his next on-pitch Nemeziz 17 design.

The latest Nemeziz Messi 17+ officially sits under the "Cold Blooded" collection, but it stands alone in terms of aesthetics. Rather than switch into the new "Triple Red" Nemeziz that all other adidas Nemeziz players will be wearing on pitch from this weekend, Messi will wear this signature "Grey/Blue" design, complete with 'Messi' branding replacing the 'Nemeziz' wording on the AgilityBandage upper technology.

Messi will wear his exclusive boot (well, the 17.1 laced issue) for the first time when Barcelona take on Alaves on Sunday night looking to extend their already monumental lead at the top of La Liga. Looking further ahead he'll remain in the colourway as Barcelona return to Champions League duties next month when they take on Chelsea in the Last 16.
