Rather than switch into the new "Triple Red" Nemeziz that all other adidas Nemeziz players will be wearing on pitch from this weekend, Messi will wear this signature "Grey/Blue" design, complete with 'Messi' branding replacing the 'Nemeziz' wording on the AgilityBandage upper technology.
Messi will wear his exclusive boot (well, the 17.1 laced issue) for the first time when Barcelona take on Alaves on Sunday night looking to extend their already monumental lead at the top of La Liga. Looking further ahead he'll remain in the colourway as Barcelona return to Champions League duties next month when they take on Chelsea in the Last 16.
