Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe is set to debut the new adidas Glitch 18 'Nocturnal Skin' this weekend as the only Glitch player in Ligue 1. Popping in purple, it's all wavy vibes for the Frenchman.
Kimpembe was selected as the face of the Glitch when the disruptive silo arrived in France in October 2017, and he's since been wearing numerous outer-skins to demonstrate the versatility of the two-piece concept. Kimpembe's latest wrap comes in the form of the 'Nocturnal Skin' that forms part of a wider three-pack of designs.
Kimpembe leads the way in France and joins Bayer Leverkusen's Benjamin Henrichs and Tottenham's Kyle Walker-Peters as the headline players in each respective country where Glitch has landed. Aimed at the next generation of players, the Glitch concept features a two-piece construction – an inner-shoe and an outer-skin.
That clean, uninterrupted upper has allowed adidas to experiment with unlimited eccentric designs that they simply wouldn't be able to execute on any other of their silos. The vibrant purple and blue pairing arrives as the 37th colourway to engulf the breakthrough silhouette.
