Nike bring their special edition treatment to the business end of the season as the Hypervenom 3 is launched in a "Game of Gold" design. It's make or break time in the 2017/18 season, and for Nike's leading strikers it's a case of goals equal gold.
It's that time of the season when strikers can become legends by taking just one chance in front of goal. Nike acknowledge this by equipping their Hypervenom players with a design that teases the prizes on offer, as the "Black/Metallic Vivid Gold" colourway will be worn by Europe’s top forwards including Robert Lewandowski, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuain.
The Nike Hypervenom 3 "Game of Gold" is also launched in a lo-cut silhouette to offer players a choice of styles and will remain on the feet of Nike's leading marksmen throughout their respective season climaxes as they chase trophies. Rather than going all out with a gold upper and secondary black finish, Nike have flipped that colour combo into a more low-key design to give just a glimpse of gold on the darkened upper.
With the days counting down until the end of the season we can expect this to be one of Nike's final moves of the current campaign before attentions switch to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
