New Balance show their hand ahead of the 2018/19 football season as they release colour updates for their leading duo of boot silos. The Tekela 1.0 and Furon 4.0 are suited in vibrant attire for the brand's contracted athletes to return to work in.
Dropping both silos in leather options for the first time, New Balance have opted for a loud start to the new campaign. The all new Tekela 1.0 series, which was launched ahead of the 2018 World Cup, dresses in "Polaris" vibe, while the fourth generation Furon takes things up another eccentric notch in "Flame" and "Aztec Gold".
The colourway of the Furon 4.0 represents its explosive nature as a lightweight speed boot. The Furon uses FantomFit technology and Hidraskin touch membrane with an enlarged clean lace contact zone for striking at goal. The Tekela is all about manoeuvrability with a full foot micro fibre upper for enhanced feel and touch.
Both colourways will serve as the on-pitch options for all New Balance players, so expect to the see the newly recruited Sadio Mane in the Furon 4.0, and some fresh faces in the new generation Tekela 1.0 design.
