Mixing the Glitch into further experimental space, adidas launch a brand new "Exertskin" edition. Taking advantage of the versatile laceless canvas the Three Stripes have shaken up the aesthetic with a fresh formation of design.
Pulling together a deep green with blasts of volt and black, the "Exertskin" edition uses a split colour design with what appears to be droplets of water standing as the key feature on the upper of the boot. These droplets are slightly raised transparent pieces of synthetic to help aid touch but also to bring a new concept to the Glitch 18 series.
Strong "Glitch" branding sits on the the outstep of the upper, towards where the laces would typically be, and that branding is joined by three corresponding stripes on the instep to bring a splash of bold colour to the party. You can expect to see a handful of adidas Glitch players switch into the silo in the coming days – in fact Erik Lamela has already worn and scored in the new outer-skin as Spurs beat Watford in the League Cup on Wednesday.
