The new-generation X 18+ takes on its most purest form to date as adidas launch the "Spectral Mode" pack. Dropping in a triple white design for an injection of pristine pace, what we're looking at here is the next on-pitch colourway for adidas' leading X players.
Landing just in time for a Champions League Group Stage debut this week, the laceless X 18+ will be worn by the likes of Thomas Muller, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Mo Salah as all adidas athletes switch into their respective "Spectral Mode" footwear. As for the colourway? Officially it's "Off White/Off White/Core Black" and it takes over from the previous blue and yellow on-pitch designs.
Less is more here, and they'll always be a demand for whiteout speed boots. It's clearly the most simplistic of the new "Spectral Mode" releases – a pack which includes a headliner pink Predator. The laceless X 18+ will also be joined by a laced X 18.1 edition as adidas roll out their full collection right across their complete silo offering. Slick.
