Sneaking a late drop into the 2018 calendar year and ensuring this one stands out on those cold dark winter pitches, Mizuno launch a timely Rebula 2 V1 update in a striking "Orange Clown Fish/White/Mazzarine Blue" colourway.
Following up its appearance in the recent Wave Cup collection, in which all of Mizuno’s boots took on the “White/Blue” colourway of the Wave Cup boot of 2002, the Rebula this time stands alone in a brighter suit orange vibes. Packing a three-colour punch, the Rebula refresh keeps the Runbird logo in white while the navy heel, collar, tongue and laces contrast nicely with the brilliantly named "Clown Fish Orange".
Orange is often a go to colour for Mizuno, with the Morelia Neo II receiving the treatment back in August 2017, the Morelia Neo having a bit of the same in July 2015, and even the now retired Basara getting Tangoed in January of that year. Now it’s the turn of the Rebula. Expect to see Mizuno's professional pool of players such as Southampton's Maya Yoshida and Leicester's Shinji Okazaki switching into the update.
