The Predator 19+ takes its first step back to tradition by dressing itself in a black and red combination as part of the new adidas "Archetic Pack" which gets the ball rolling for the Three Stripes in 2019. A design that's definitively Predator, and one that ensures that adidas get the new year off to a crowd-pleasing start.
The "Archetic Pack" Predator is officially the second colourway of the new generation model. Yep, this is the Predator 19+ which may have slipped past unnoticed as adidas only tweaked the previous generation to label it the 19 edition. No song and dance, no big launch event, just a bit of nip and tucking and a quick switch in the shop window before carrying on as normal.
Black upper, blackout stripes and some red detailing. You won't hear many complaints about this combination. The Three Stripes have kicked off the new year by ticking the biggest box of all by releasing an all black line-up which will please the traditionalists and give their designs the freedom to follow it up with some more eccentric paint palettes.
The Predator 19+ joins the X 18+, Nemeziz 18+ and COPA 19+ in the "Archetic Pack" and although the collection will undoubtably fly off the shelves but it won't feature on-pitch; adidas have a new offering in the works for their contracted players to switch into in the coming weeks.
